Using Command Center Posture and Active Deployments

Using Command Center Posture and Active Deployments

The Command Center combines operational indicators, tickets, active deployments, and dispatch actions. Use it for situational awareness and coordinated follow-up during active operations.

Read the Posture Indicators

The header may show:

  • Guards: active shifts currently clocked in across Sites.
  • Dispatches: pending dispatch assignments.
  • Incidents: open incident reports requiring attention.
  • Panic Alerts: active panic-alert count.
  • Open Tickets: tickets that have not yet completed their workflow.

An indicator is a starting point. Open the related ticket, incident, deployment, or alert before deciding what action is required.

Create or Dispatch

  • Select Create to start a new Command Center ticket.
  • Select Dispatch to open the dispatch workflow.

Only take actions permitted by your role and company procedure. Confirm the Site, assignment, priority, and available unit before dispatching.

Review Active Deployments

The Active Tactical Deployments area groups work into:

  • Dispatch
  • Alarm Response
  • Runsheets
  • Lone Worker

Select a tab to focus on that operational type. Search by Guard, Site, vehicle, or status to narrow the cards.

A deployment card can show the Guard, unit identifier, current status, Site, assigned vehicle, and whether live tracking is active. Status labels such as Pending or En Route describe the recorded workflow state and should be verified when conditions are changing quickly.

Contact a Unit

When a Guard phone number is recorded, select Call Unit to start a phone call. If the card shows Radio only, use your company's approved radio or dispatch channel.

A phone or radio action does not update the ticket or deployment automatically. Record the outcome in the appropriate operational workflow.

Suggested Monitoring Order

  1. Follow emergency procedure immediately for an active panic or life-safety event.
  2. Review pending dispatches and confirm ownership.
  3. Review open incidents and tickets requiring coordination.
  4. Filter the relevant deployment type and confirm the assigned Guard or unit.
  5. Contact the unit when direct verification is needed.
  6. Update the owning ticket, incident, or dispatch workflow after the response.

Safety Boundary

Command Center indicators support decisions but do not replace verified communication, Site post orders, dispatch procedures, or emergency services. Treat stale or missing data as a reason to verify through an approved channel.
