Reviewing Weekly Coverage and Publishing Draft Shifts
The Schedule view in the Admin Operations Workspace gives you a compact weekly view of coverage. Use it for quick review and draft publication, then open the full Scheduling workspace when you need advanced planning or editing.
Choose the Week
- Use the left and right arrows to move between weeks.
- Select Today to return to the current week.
- Check the timezone shown below the date range before comparing shift times.
The desktop view uses a seven-day matrix. On smaller screens, shifts appear in a date-grouped agenda.
Search and Filter
Use the search box to find a Guard, Site, shift type, note, or status. You can also filter by:
- Site
- Guard
- Uncovered
- Open shifts
- Drafts
- Published
The coverage summary shows the number of uncovered shifts and unpublished drafts. If filters hide every result, select Clear filters.
Understand Shift States
- Draft: saved but not yet published.
- Open shift: available or unassigned work requiring coverage.
- Published: published scheduling work.
- Published · unassigned: published but still without a Guard assignment.
- Assigned: assigned operational work.
- Cancelled: no longer active.
Publishing a shift does not guarantee that it has a Guard. Continue tracking any published, unassigned shift as a coverage risk.
Inspect a Shift
Select a shift to review:
- Site and Guard;
- date, start time, and end time;
- whether the shift ends the next day;
- shift type;
- pending applications;
- notes;
- publication and coverage state.
At desktop widths the inspector may appear beside the week. On smaller screens it opens in a sheet.
Publish One Draft
- Select a draft shift.
- Review its assignment, time, Site, applications, and notes.
- Select Publish shift.
- Wait for the success confirmation.
Only Company Admin and Super Admin accounts are offered the dashboard publication action. Attlock rechecks authorization when publishing.
Publish Visible Drafts
- Apply any Site, Guard, status, or search filters needed.
- Select Publish drafts. The number shown is the number of visible eligible drafts.
- Review the week and count in the confirmation dialog.
- Select Publish drafts again to confirm.
If publication fails, keep the dialog open, review the error, and try again after correcting the underlying issue.
Create or Edit Shifts
The Create shift action appears only when your account can create shifts. Use Open full schedule or Open in Scheduling for complete editing, templates, conflict handling, forecasting, and other advanced scheduling tasks.
