Getting Started with the Admin Dashboard

The Attlock admin dashboard is your command center for managing guards, clients, sites, schedules, incidents, and every aspect of your security operations.

Logging In

  1. Open your browser and navigate to your company's Attlock dashboard URL.
  2. Enter your email address and password.
  3. If two-factor authentication is enabled, enter the verification code.
  4. You'll land on the Dashboard overview page.

Sidebar Navigation

The left sidebar organizes every feature into collapsible sections:

Click any section header to expand or collapse it. Click a page name to navigate there.

Command Palette — Quick Navigation

Press the G key anywhere in the dashboard to open the Command Palette.

  • Type to search for any page, feature, or action.
  • Use arrow keys to navigate results, then press Enter to go.
  • Results are grouped by category (Overview, Team, Operations, etc.).
  • Quick Actions appear when you search words like "create", "new", or "add":
    • Create New Shift
    • File New Report
    • Invite Guard
    • Log Incident
    • Add New Site
    • Add New Client
    • Create Checklist
    • Start Pay Run
  • Your 5 most recent pages appear when the search field is empty.

Dashboard Overview

The main Dashboard page shows real-time KPIs:

  • Active Guards — how many guards are currently on duty.
  • Pending Incidents — unresolved incidents requiring attention.
  • Shift Coverage — percentage of scheduled shifts that are filled.
  • System Alerts — any urgent notifications.

Below the KPIs you'll see charts for guard activity, incident trends, and shift performance.

Theme & Appearance

The dashboard supports both Light and Dark themes. Toggle the theme from Settings → Appearance or the theme switcher in the header.

Tips for New Admins

  • Start with Sites — add your physical locations first, then assign guards.
  • Use the Command Palette — it's the fastest way to reach any feature.
  • Check Notifications daily — incidents, shift changes, and alerts appear here.
  • Set up Roles — configure access control so team members only see what they need.
