Settings & Configuration

The Settings area lets you configure your company profile, branding, integrations, API access, and system preferences.

Accessing Settings

Attlock company registration form with organization setup fields.
Company setup: enter your organization details to configure Attlock.

Navigate to Settings → Settings in the sidebar, or press G and search "Settings".

Settings Tabs

Organization

  • Company Name
  • Company Address
  • Phone Number
  • Email
  • Website
  • Industry
  • Timezone
  • Founded Year
  • License Number and Expiry Date

Branding

  • Upload your Company Logo.
  • Set Brand Colors for a white-label experience.
  • Customize the look of the client portal with your branding.

Users & Permissions

Quick access to the Access Control pages (Roles and Users).

Billing

  • View your current Subscription Plan.
  • Update Payment Methods.
  • View Billing History.
  • Manage plan upgrades or changes.

Licenses

  • Manage license keys.
  • View license status.

Payments

  • Configure payment methods (credit card, bank account).
  • View payment history.

Integrations

  • Connect third-party services.
  • View active integrations.

Compliance

  • Configure compliance-related settings.
  • Set certification requirements.

Preferences

  • General system preferences.
  • Default settings for new items.

Support

  • View support contact information.
  • Access help resources.

Appearance

  • Toggle between Light and Dark themes.
  • UI customization options.

Locale

  • Set default Language.
  • Set default Timezone.
  • Configure date and time formats.

API Keys

Go to Settings → API Keys:

  1. Click Generate New Key.
  2. Name the key (e.g., "Integration with HR System").
  3. Copy the key — it's shown only once.
  4. Use the key in your external integrations.
  5. Revoke keys that are no longer needed.
  6. View usage and last-used timestamps.

Webhooks

Go to Settings → Webhooks:

  1. Click Create Webhook.
  2. Enter the Endpoint URL (where events should be sent).
  3. Select Events to subscribe to:
    • Guard clock-in/out
    • Incident created
    • Shift published
    • Report submitted
    • And more.
  4. Test the webhook.
  5. View delivery history and retry failed deliveries.

API Documentation

Go to Settings → API Docs for:

  • Full API endpoint reference.
  • Authentication instructions.
  • Request/response examples.
  • Rate limiting information.

Audit Log

Go to Settings → Audit Log:

  • View a chronological log of all system changes.
  • Filter by:
    • Entity type (users, roles, shifts, sites, equipment, etc.)
    • Action (created, updated, deleted)
    • Time range
    • User
  • Export audit logs for compliance records.
  • Each entry shows: who, what, when, and the details of the change.

Data Migration

Go to Settings → Data Migration:

  1. Select the data type to import (guards, sites, equipment, etc.).
  2. Download the CSV template for that type.
  3. Fill in the template with your data.
  4. Upload the completed file.
  5. The system validates the data and shows any errors.
  6. Preview the import results.
  7. Execute the import.

Platform presets are available for common systems to simplify migration.

Vendors

Go to Settings → Vendors:

  • Add vendor companies (subcontractors, suppliers, uniform providers, etc.).
  • Track vendor status: Active, Inactive, Pending, Suspended.
  • Store contact information and contracts.
  • Rate vendor performance.

Tips

  • Set up branding first so clients see your logo in their portal.
  • Use webhooks to integrate with your other business systems.
  • Review the Audit Log regularly for suspicious activity.
  • Revoke unused API keys to maintain security.
  • Back up data before migration — use the CSV template to ensure correct formatting.
