Managing Clients

Clients are the companies or individuals who hire your security services. The Clients page lets you create client profiles, manage their contacts, control which sites they can see, and enable their self-service portal.

Accessing Clients

Operations: open Live Tracking to monitor guards and site activity in real time.

Navigate to Operations → Clients in the sidebar, or press G and search "Clients".

Client List

  • Search by company name.
  • Filter by Status: Active or Inactive.
  • Each row shows the company name, logo, primary contact, status, and number of assigned sites.

Creating a New Client

  1. Click Add Client.
  2. Complete the multi-step form:

Details Tab

  • Company Name (required)
  • Company Logo — upload PNG/JPG/WebP/GIF (max 2 MB)
  • Website
  • Address (geocoded for map display)
  • Client Type: Property Owner, Property Manager, Business Owner, HOA, Government, Other
  • Industry — select from list or enter custom

Contacts

  • Primary Contact: Name, Role, Phone, Email
  • Add additional contacts as needed.

Billing

  • Billing Email
  • Payment Terms
  • Billing Notes
  1. Click Save.

Site Access & Permissions

The Sites Tab and Access Management Tab control which sites a client can see and what data they access.

Assigning Sites

  1. Open a client profile → Access Management tab.
  2. Click Assign Sites.
  3. Select one or more sites from the list.
  4. For each site, configure permissions:

  1. Optionally set an expiry date for site access.
  2. Save.

Bulk Operations

  • Bulk Assign Sites: select multiple sites at once.
  • Copy Permissions: duplicate one client's access setup to another.
  • Compare Clients: side-by-side comparison of two clients' permissions.
  • Access Templates: save a permission set as a template for quick reuse.

Revoking Access

Click the × next to a site assignment, or use Revoke in the Access Management tab.

Client Portal

The Portal Access tab lets you enable the client's self-service app:

  1. Toggle Enable Client Portal on.
  2. Configure notification preferences:
    • Email Reports — send report summaries
    • Email Incidents — send incident alerts
    • Email Invoices — send billing notifications
    • SMS Alerts — text message notifications
    • Real-time Incident Alerts — push notifications for critical events
  3. Save.

Once enabled, the client can log into the Attlock Client app to view their sites, guards, reports, invoices, and more.

Audit History

The Audit History tab shows a log of every change made to the client's profile and access settings — who changed what, and when.

Exporting Client Data

Click Export CSV from the client list to download a spreadsheet of all client records.

Tips

  • Upload logos — they appear in the client portal and on invoices.
  • Use Access Templates if you have a standard permission set for most clients.
  • Set expiry dates for contract-based access that should auto-expire.
