January 2026 Release Notes
Happy New Year! The January 2026 release kicks off the year with a brand-new Help Center, mobile checkpoint scanning, native map support, and AI-powered admin capabilities.
New Features
- Help Center Launch — A comprehensive knowledge base is now available for all users. Browse articles by role, search for answers, and find step-by-step guides for every feature on the platform. The Help Center covers admin, guard, and client workflows.
- Checkpoint Scanning — Guards can now scan NFC tags and QR codes at designated checkpoints directly from the mobile app. Scan events are logged with timestamps and GPS coordinates for complete patrol verification.
- Native Map Provider — Maps across the platform now use a faster, smoother rendering engine with offline support. Guard tracking, geofence visualization, and site maps all benefit from the upgrade.
- Sign-Up Page — A new registration page supports both email-based sign-up and social login (Google, Microsoft), making it easier for new companies to get started with Attlock.
- Pass-Down Templates — Create, edit, and manage pass-down report templates. Supervisors can standardize shift handover documentation across all sites.
- AI Assistant & Admin Chat — Administrators now have access to an AI-powered assistant that can answer questions about site operations, help generate reports, and provide quick insights from operational data.
Improvements
- Landing Page Mega Menu — The marketing site navigation has been upgraded with a mega menu that organizes feature pages, solutions, and resources for easier discovery.
- Feature Pages — New dedicated pages for each major Attlock capability, helping prospective customers understand the platform's depth.
- Checkpoint History View — Supervisors can view a complete timeline of checkpoint scans for any patrol route, making it easy to verify guard activity.
- Template Versioning — Pass-down templates now track version history so administrators can review and revert changes if needed.
