April 2026 Release Notes

Welcome to the April 2026 release of Attlock. This update delivers a stronger authentication experience, faster performance across the platform, expanded reporting capabilities, and a refreshed Help Center.

New Features

Two-Factor Authentication — Protect your account with an authenticator app. Includes backup codes, trusted device management, and a dedicated verification step during sign-in.
Passkey & Magic Link Sign-In — Sign in without a password using passkeys or magic links sent to your email.
39 Report Types — The report system now supports 39 distinct report types with comprehensive field coverage and witness support, giving administrators full visibility into operations.
Checkpoint Bulk Edit — Select multiple checkpoints at once and edit them together. Single selection opens the standard edit form.
Site Guards Tab — A new view showing which guards are currently assigned to a site based on active shifts.
Forgot Password in Help Center — A new 4-step password reset flow (request, check email, set new password, success) is now available directly in the Help Center.
Live Chat on Landing Site — A live chat widget is now available on attlock.com for real-time support and questions.

Help Center Speed — Articles and categories now load instantly. No more needing to refresh the page multiple times.
Cross-Platform Sessions — Sign in once and stay authenticated across the dashboard, Help Center, and all Attlock subdomains.
Google & Apple Sign-In — Continue signing in with your Google or Apple account across web and mobile apps.
Improved Scan Reports — Grouped duplicate scan entries, added scan summaries, and improved multi-checkpoint support for clearer reporting.
Timezone-Aware Patrol Sessions — Patrol data and analytics now respect each site's local timezone for accurate shift tracking.
6AM Security Day Boundaries — All report schedules (daily, weekly, monthly) now use the industry-standard 6AM-to-6AM security day window.
Better CSV & PDF Exports — Exports now include all active filters in the document header with improved formatting and layout.
Bulk Report Management — Manage automated report schedules in bulk from the admin sidebar.
Email Uniqueness Validation — User updates now check for duplicate emails before saving.
Streamlined Admin Sidebar — Improved navigation with better organization and cleaner layout.
Refreshed Typography — A new modern heading font across the platform for a cleaner, more professional look.
Refined Brand Colors — Standardized colors across all pages for a more cohesive visual identity.

Security Updates

Security Audit Trail — All sign-in, sign-up, password reset, and 2FA events are now logged for compliance and security monitoring.
Professional Email Notifications — Redesigned authentication and notification emails with the Attlock brand, dark mode support, and clear call-to-action buttons.
Cleaner Error Messages — All error messages across the platform are now user-friendly and actionable, with no confusing technical details.

Help Center

Redesigned Footer — Clean layout with smooth gradient dividers, social links (Instagram, LinkedIn, Email), and the Attlock logo with dark mode support.
Improved Sign-In Page — Updated branding, smoother animations, and seamless session support across Attlock products.
2FA Sign-In Support — Users with two-factor authentication enabled can now sign in through the Help Center.

Mobile Apps

Improved Stability — Extensive automated testing added to catch issues before they reach your device.
Password Reset & Email Verification — Reset your password and verify your email directly from any Attlock mobile app.
Over-the-Air Updates — The client mobile app now receives updates automatically without requiring an App Store download.
Fixed Social Sign-In — Resolved issues with Google and Apple sign-in on mobile devices.

Bug Fixes

Fixed broken article links in the Help Center.
Fixed scan report email timestamps to use the correct company timezone.
Corrected checkpoint scan limits per shift.
Fixed theme switching glitches on the admin dashboard.
Resolved file upload issues in certain admin forms.
Fixed parking violation alerts not appearing in the guard notification feed.
Corrected timezone calculations for users in non-standard UTC offset regions.
